Class Overview
Gentle Yoga Flow includes slow, thoughtful movements, a focus on accessibility for all levels, and the use of props like blocks and blankets to support poses.
These classes emphasize breath work, stretching, and relaxation. They are ideal for those new to yoga, recovering from injury, or seeking a low-intensity practice to reduce stress and improve flexibility.
Is this the right class for me?
✔ You will likely spend more time holding each pose than in a more vigorous class, allowing your body to ease into the stretch.
✔ The class may include simple stretches, gentle backbends, and forward folds, modified to be gentle on the body.
✔ The class will likely conclude with a period of deep relaxation, such as a guided meditation or savasana (corpse pose).
Can I try a class before committing?
Absolutely. I offer a single-session intro pass so you can get a feel for the class, the vibe, and the coaching. No experience needed — just show up, and I’ll guide you through the rest.
Can I join midway through the session?
Yes! Simply contact me, and I'll send you a unique promo code that offers a prorated discount based on the number of classes remaining in the session.

Savasana is an essential part of any Vinyasa practice — Participants will focus on their breath while letting go of any remaining tension in their bodies.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Melany James
I love to teach and to share my love of yoga and meditation.
The emphasis in my classes is on teaching students to be aware of their breath and its connection to their foundation, movement, and core. Making a connection between the mind, movement and breath will not only change your practice on the mat, but it can also change your life in so many positive ways!
In my classes, experienced practitioners will find a challenging and supportive environment, while newcomers will discover a space where modifications and alternatives are always offered.
I invite everyone to join me from “wherever they are” to experience the transformative power of yoga and meditation.
